Overview

To carry out two large extensions to the period property, the ground floor extension consisted of the removal of the old garage block and the construction of a larger outbuilding in the same design as the main house with an interconnecting corridor. This building was to house the new Gym area and storage area. The main house consisted of a two-storey extension to the front and side facades, enlarging the upstairs bedrooms and downstairs dining areas. All brickwork was using period reclaimed bricks to match existing. Installation of new windows, again to match existing sash windows on the property; extension of the roof area using period clay tiles. To the basement area, we undertook the hacking off and tanking of the basement area, the introduction of a new staircase and a glass walkover light. All areas were decorated to the highest quality and to marry into existing finishes.
